What's New on the Platform — July 3–21, 2026

These two weeks were all about one thing: letting you quote the job, close the sale, send the invoice, and get paid — all inside the platform, with almost none of the manual back-and-forth. Along the way your AI assistant got noticeably smarter on calls, the mobile app got easier to use, and you can now switch the whole interface to a light theme. Here’s the rundown.

:rocket: The Big Stuff

  1. Smart pricing in your price book. The platform now figures out the price of a service for you: it takes your cost, labor, and materials and adds your markup. Set your target profit once, and prices fill themselves in. And if you ever price something at a loss — or below your own minimum — the platform warns you and sends it for approval, so you don’t lose money by accident. There’s also a :sparkles: AI-fill prices” button that fills empty catalog items with prices and descriptions in one go.
  2. A quote in seconds — from a chat or a photo. The assistant can build a detailed, itemized quote right out of the conversation with your customer (before, it could only send one lump sum with no breakdown). And if the customer sends a photo, it can draft a quote from the picture, using your catalog and the customer’s history.
  3. Estimates your customer can sign online. Edit an estimate right on the page, text the customer a link by SMS, collect an electronic signature on the contract, and keep your own document templates. One button turns an estimate into a job.
  4. The AI assistant actually books and reschedules now. It used to sometimes tell a customer “rescheduled/cancelled” while nothing changed on the calendar — that’s fixed. Reschedules no longer lose the original booking, and the assistant pulls open slots from your real schedule (working hours, lunch breaks, jobs already on the books). It will never say “we’re fully booked” when there’s actually an open time.
  5. Crews with more than one tech. A job can now have a lead plus helpers. You can send backup even to a job that’s already in progress. The helper shows up right on the work order (the AI sales agent had been promising customers “we’ll send a 2-person crew” with nowhere to record the second person).
  6. Call recording, a “live” sound, and an iPhone-style call screen. Incoming calls handled by the AI assistant are now recorded, there’s a subtle office ambience under the voice, and the call screen is now full-screen and familiar: contact name, timer, and Mute / Speaker / End buttons. Audio goes to the earpiece by default, just like a normal phone call.

:dollar_banknote: Pricing, Estimates, Invoices & Payments

Price book & pricing

  • Prices are calculated the same way everywhere — on the estimate, the invoice, and the job — so nothing drifts out of sync.
  • Set your markup or minimum profit once, and prices fill in on their own; trying to sell below your minimum won’t slip through quietly.
  • When you sign up, we’ll build you a starter catalog tailored to your trade, and the AI helps fill in prices, descriptions, and “good / better / best” options.
  • Your field tech picks materials from the catalog right on their phone — and inventory is deducted automatically.
  • Member pricing: a customer with an active service plan automatically gets their special rate.

Good — Better — Best

  • Ready-made three-option proposals, complete with headlines, images, and totals. Your customer sees a polished proposal and picks for themselves, and you apply the chosen option right on the estimate or invoice.

Estimates

  • Edit line items, title, tax, valid-until date, and scope of work right on the page. Send the customer a draft; re-sending won’t cause a mess.

Invoices

  • Customize the list columns to fit you: tech, job address and type, amounts, terms, QuickBooks sync, payment method, who created it.
  • Edit line items and fields right on the invoice, add a description to a line, pull prices from the price book. The customer sees the full invoice on the payment page (clean, Stripe-style).

Payments & subscriptions

  • Partial payments are now counted correctly, a pay-online link attaches itself to a sent invoice, and the links in text messages are shorter. You can send an invoice to a different recipient and choose the channel (SMS or email).
  • Automatic overdue reminders. You used to be able to set “remind 3 days after the due date,” but it never actually sent. Now reminders and gentle follow-ups really do go out on schedule — nothing drastic, just steady nudges.
  • Service plans: when you sell a plan, we schedule the maintenance visits on the calendar ahead of time; there’s now plan management for the office.
  • Straightforward billing for your team: one subscription for the company (not multiplied per person), and cards don’t get duplicated. Employees are included in your plan up to a limit (Wedge — 5, Growth — 25, Scale — 150, Enterprise — unlimited), with no per-seat charge; anyone already over the limit stays put.
  • If a payment is overdue and access is paused, you can now pay and get access back right away. After you cancel an invoice, a “Create New Invoice” button appears, the risky “Cancel/Refund” actions are set apart, and the “All invoices paid!” message no longer shows up when there are actually unpaid ones.

:robot: Your AI Assistant on Calls & Messages

  • Bookings and reschedules are honest now: the assistant really does cancel and reschedule, the old booking isn’t lost, and “move me to another time” works the way it should.
  • Open times come from your real schedule: working hours, lunch breaks, days off, and jobs already booked are all taken into account; the assistant offers the nearest openings and won’t pretend it’s “fully booked.”
  • Fewer slip-ups in conversation: the assistant remembers the customer’s name and address (on calls and in chat), doesn’t get confused about “tomorrow,” doesn’t over-promise, and sends a clean call summary. In settings you can choose how it handles cancellations: on its own / hand off to a person / off.
  • Calls sound more alive: incoming calls are recorded, there’s a light office background, a “typing” sound while the assistant thinks, and calls go out from your business number.

:telephone: Talking to Customers

  • A customer’s whole history in one place. One person = one row in the list (not a separate one for the call, the text, and the request) and a single timeline: messages from every channel, calls, and events for bookings, jobs, and invoices — all in one stream, in order.
  • The timeline shows calls, missed calls, voicemails, and cancelled appointments, with a note where the AI answered. Handy tabs: All · Unread · Unanswered, quick search, and infinite scroll.
  • Attachments: incoming photos and MMS show up right away, there’s a progress bar when sending a large video, and heavy files go to the customer as a short link.
  • SMS: replies go out from the same number the customer texted; you can pick the sending number per conversation; and you can show the tech’s name in texts however you like.
  • One customer, one conversation: duplicate contacts don’t pile up anymore, and if a duplicate does appear there’s a “Merge” button. Events flow into the chat — for example, “the customer opened the payment link.” The owner and the operator get notified of a new message.

:world_map: Scheduling & Crews

  • Crews: a lead plus helpers, with availability checks and notifications; people who can’t be assigned don’t show up in the picker.
  • Tech schedules: working hours, personal time blocks for a specific tech, employee search, and reliable saving of the whole weekly schedule at once.
  • The “Time & Attendance” section: the availability schedule used to be hard to find — now it lives alongside the timesheet in one place. Paid time off (PTO) is granted to all employees, and you can set working hours right from a person’s profile.
  • Dispatch: GPS time tracking with automatic assignment, a notification to the tech when assigned, and addresses that turn themselves into pins on the map. On the schedule board, multi-day jobs show correctly, the map fits the day’s jobs, and every time is shown in your time zone.

:globe_with_meridians: Google: Get Found

  • Your Google profile and ads in one module — manage your business profile and let an AI assistant help with advertising.
  • The “Book online” button in Google is yours now (turning it on used to be able to accidentally overwrite your real website address — that’s fixed). We leave third-party partner links alone.
  • Collecting reviews: after a job is done, the customer gets a nudge to leave a Google review. We show the funnel honestly (sent → delivered → clicked through) and mark a matched review as “likely,” rather than passing it off as fact.
  • Google Ads: live advertising with an AI assistant and clear analytics; the profile stays quietly dormant until Google grants access.

:credit_card: Plans: Everything’s Included Now

  • We charge for usage, not for checkboxes: API access, AI features, AI activity logs, and white-label are open on every plan. The old “Scale only” restriction is gone.
  • Your plan now correctly matches what you’re actually paying for — it no longer gets “stuck” on Enterprise, and the labels on the plan cards are honest.

:mobile_phone: The App on Your Phone

  • Buttons are easy to hit with your finger — we enlarged the tap zones on dozens of screens (invoices, estimates, scheduling, leads, customers, reports, settings, calls, and more).
  • Everything fits a small screen: cards instead of cramped tables, nothing hidden behind the bottom menu, and panels that open from the bottom like they belong there.
  • Signing in is more reliable: there’s a fallback if Face ID doesn’t work, the stuck “Session Expired” screen is fixed, and it no longer kicks you back to the login screen for no reason.
  • Notifications: tapping a push opens the right screen; and when you scroll, the list header shrinks to a slim bar to free up space.

:artist_palette: Light Theme

  • You can now switch the interface to a light theme — it looks clean and consistent in both light and dark. The toggle is in settings.

:globe_showing_europe_africa: Languages

  • We finished translating and cleaned up the interface in 10–11 languages (legal sections, forms, dashboards, the landing page, task labels) and did a quality pass on German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Chinese, plus Portuguese, Vietnamese, and Italian.

:sparkles: Stability & Security

  • Fewer crashes: the conversations list no longer “breaks” over a single bad record, and statuses can’t be rolled backward by accident — less confusion in your workflow.
  • The app opens faster and shuts down more gracefully during updates — no lost data.
  • Your data is protected: admin sections are hidden from regular staff, your company tax ID isn’t visible to people who don’t need it, and internal screens are reserved for us.
