Week 44: Workflow Automation — Aug 23 – 29, 2025
TL;DR: Visual workflow builder is live. Drag-and-drop automation for business processes: “When a job is completed, send an invoice and request a review.” No code required.
Highlights This Week
- Built visual workflow builder with drag-and-drop canvas
- Implemented trigger-condition-action model for automation rules
- Added 15 pre-built automation templates
No-Code Automation
Every field service company has repetitive processes: job completed → send invoice → request review → follow up in 3 days. The workflow builder lets managers create these automations visually, without writing code. Templates cover the most common patterns.
How It Works
Workflows consist of triggers (job completed, invoice paid, new lead), conditions (if amount > $500, if customer is VIP), and actions (send email, create task, update status). The visual canvas lets users connect these nodes with drag-and-drop. Workflows execute automatically in the background.
