Comparison pages written by software vendors usually show every competitor as missing everything. I run Exoserva, so read this knowing that — but I’ve tried to keep it to things you can check yourself: published prices, how each company charges, and what kind of business each one fits.
Prices below were checked on each company’s public pricing page in September 2026. They change often, so confirm before you decide.
How each one charges
| Pricing model | Published price | Contract | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jobber | Per plan, 1 user included on the entry plans; extra users $29/mo each | From $49/mo on monthly billing (lower with annual prepay), up to $499/mo | Monthly or annual |
| Housecall Pro | Per plan with a set number of users (1, 5 or 8); $35/mo per extra user on MAX | $79, $189 or $329/mo on monthly billing (lower with annual) | Monthly or annual |
| ServiceTitan | Quoted per technician | Not published; third-party estimates commonly land around $245–$500 per technician per month, plus implementation fees | Annual |
| Exoserva | Per company, not per user, with an employee cap per plan | $499, $1,999, $6,999 or $14,999/mo | Month to month |
AI phone answering
This is where the products differ most, so it’s worth being precise:
- Jobber sells an AI Receptionist as an add-on ($29/mo on its pricing page).
- Housecall Pro offers CSR AI as an add-on; the price isn’t listed on its pricing page.
- ServiceTitan sells add-on products on top of its core platform; get the details in a quote.
- Exoserva includes AI voice minutes and SMS in every plan: 300 minutes and 500 texts on Wedge, 1,500 and 2,000 on Growth, 6,000 and 10,000 on Scale, 25,000 and 25,000 on Enterprise. One local phone number is included. The AI answers calls and texts, books appointments, and hands pricing questions to your team rather than quoting prices on its own.
Which one fits which business
- Solo operator or a two-person team watching every dollar: Jobber or Housecall Pro will cost less. Exoserva’s entry plan starts at $499/mo, which only makes sense if AI call and text handling replaces time you’d otherwise pay for.
- A small team that misses calls: compare the price of an AI answering add-on plus extra users on Jobber or Housecall Pro with a per-company plan that already includes voice minutes.
- Larger shops with complex operations: ServiceTitan is built for them, with pricing and onboarding to match. Ask for the full quote including implementation.
- Growing teams tired of paying per seat: per-company pricing (Exoserva) stays flat as you add dispatchers and technicians, up to the plan’s employee cap: 5, 25, 150 or unlimited.
Switching
None of these companies offers a one-click move from a competitor. Moving into Exoserva is done by exporting CSV files from your current system and importing them in Migration Hub — see the migration guide in the Using Exoserva category for exactly what comes across and what doesn’t.
Questions to ask any vendor before you sign
- What’s the total monthly cost for my team size, including extra users and add-ons?
- Is there an implementation or setup fee?
- What happens to my data if I leave — can I export customers, jobs and invoices to CSV?
- Is AI phone answering included, and how many minutes before overage charges?
- Can I cancel month to month?
If you’ve used more than one of these, what made you switch — or stay? Honest experiences help everyone here more than any comparison table.
