Getting up and running with Exoserva takes about 30 minutes. This guide walks you through everything you need to do on day one so you can start dispatching jobs by the end of it.
Create Your Account
Head to exoserva.com and sign up with your business email. You’ll get a confirmation email — click the link to activate your account. Once you’re in, you’ll land on the setup wizard that walks you through the next steps.
Set Up Your Company Profile
Go to Settings > Company Profile and fill in your business details: company name, logo, service area (zip codes or radius), and business hours. This information shows up on customer-facing documents like invoices and appointment confirmations, so take a minute to get it right.
Add Your Team
Navigate to Settings > Team and invite your technicians by email. Assign each person a role — Admin, Dispatcher, or Technician — based on what they need access to. You can also add skill tags (e.g., “residential HVAC”, “commercial plumbing”) so the scheduler knows who’s qualified for which jobs.
Configure Your Services
Under Settings > Services, create your service types. For each one, set a default price, estimated duration, and description. This speeds up job creation later — instead of typing everything from scratch, you just select the service and the details fill in automatically.
Connect Your Calendar
Go to Settings > Integrations > Calendar and connect your Google Calendar or Outlook account. Exoserva syncs both ways — jobs you create here show up on your personal calendar, and personal events block off time so you don’t get double-booked.
Set Up Payments
Under Settings > Integrations > Payments, connect your Stripe account. This lets you accept credit card and ACH payments directly through Exoserva. Customers get a payment link with their invoice, and the money hits your bank account in 1-2 business days.
Create Your First Job
Click New Job from the dashboard. Select a customer (or create one on the fly), choose a service type, pick a date and time, and assign a technician. Hit save and you’ve got your first job on the board.
